With great thanks to Leo who has been taking care of our books over the past
year, we are now in need of the next dedicated person to help in this really important duty in the church. Requirements are about 5 hours per week, much of
which can be done from home. Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus. If you are

OPPORTUNITY: Sunday Children's School Teacher
FREQUENCY: Approx. once a month
DESCRIPTION: Each week an enthusiastic group of folks helps teach our children at MBCC to come to know God's presence in their lives in a deep and real way. Each week the teaching focuses around an activity or story that allows the kids to stretch and develop their knowledge of faith, love, and hope. As teacher you would be responsible for leading the group in the story time and activity of the day.
OPPORTUNITY: Sunday Hospitality Crew
FREQUENCY: Weekly, though this is part of a group of folks.
DESCRIPTION: Each week a dedicated group of folks helps to get the church set up to welcome all of those who come through our doors. From pre-service coffee set up, candle lighting and bathroom cleaning to clean-up afterwards this hands-on ministry is crucial to creating a feeling of welcome and hospitality.
OPPORTUNITY: Sunday Fellowship Host
FREQUENCY: Once a month
DESCRIPTION: After service each Sunday folks gather for fellowship and light snacks. If you like to bake or like to buy baked things, this might be the place for you!
OPPORTUNITY: Sunday Greeting Team
FREQUENCY: Weekly, though this is a group of folks.
DESCRIPTION: Right now there are a few folks who provide greeting each Sunday. We want to expand this group, so this is a work in progress. If you feel like you have the gift of making folks feel welcome without being too shy or too pushy, this might be for you.
OPPORTUNITY: On-Call Venue Crew
FREQUENCY: Weekly, but on-call based on availability.
DESCRIPTION: Each week our facility partner Hand on Gourmet holds corporate events here at MBCC. Part of our responsibility each week is to reset the space for their use. If you have a flexible daytime/early evening scheudle and would be willing to be part of an on-call mailing list please let us know. With two-three folks, the reset takes 30-60 minutes.
OPPORTUNITY: Monday Clean-up Crew
FREQUENCY: Once a month
DESCRIPTION: Not quite, Dancing with the Start, but "Cleaning with the Pastor" is sure to be a hit. Join Pastor Bruce each Monday from 5:00-7:00 (Or less) to help clean the space after a week full of activities. If you can take an on-going monthly slot that would be AWESOME!

DESCRIPTION: There are a variety of tasks that are on the table, just waiting for someone to come on in and tackle them. If you can spare any time, regular or not, please let us know. Most tasks or organizational in nature and would require you to be on-site.
