Membership isn't an elite status; it's an involvement
Please don't run away...
We at MBCC do not have any mega-church aspirations, nor do we expect to take over a local sports stadium any time soon (though it would be awesome to have hot dogs and nachos at church). Rather, we hope to grow in attendance (those who come on Sunday) and membership (those who become official) only as much as God plans for us. Still, membership is an important way that we can measure our health and vitality as a faithful and sustainable community of faith.

What MBCC membership is not:
- Membership is not a Get Into Heaven Free card. When one arrives at the "Pearly Gates," God will not ask your membership status . . . we hope.
- Membership does not mean one is more faithful than another.
- Membership does not reserve or guarantee you a better seat or parking space on Sunday.
- What MBCC membership is:
- Membership is a step taken on one's faith journey because one wants to live out that faith in a different way.
- Membership is a way to exercise ones commitment to the ministry and its sustainability.
- Membership is a symbolic step to laying roots in one place even if it is for a short amount of time.
